Credit card details and expiry date is required on booking and checkin.
Important Information on Credit Cards
We do not debit your credit card for the reserved accommodation prior to your arrival date. We accept all major credit cards with a pre-authorisation facility through EFTPOS New Zealand Limited.
For Trafalgar Lodge, cancellations within seven days of the booked date or non-arrival of the guest may incur a fee, with either the total amount of the booked accommodation being debited to your credit card or the deposit retained. Emerald House cancellations within fourteen days of the booked date or non-arrival of the guest may incur a fee, with either the total amount of the booked accommodation being debited to your credit card or the deposit retained.
Day Use Policy
Up until 1600 hours, 50% of the daily contracted room/unit rate will be applicable. After 1600 hours, 100% of the daily contracted room/unit rate will be applicable. Day use room/unit requirement should be requested at time of reservation.
Unsecured bookings may be released at 4.00 pm on the date of arrival unless notified of a late arrival time. If you have not arrived by 4.00 p.m. we may cancel your reservation to make room for another guest. A booking remains unsecured until a valid credit card number or deposit for the full room/unit rate for the booking is received. Unfulfilled bookings will have one night’s accommodation charged with no reinstatement of the booking.
All Units and Rooms are non-smoking.
2.00 p.m. on day of arrival. Check-out is 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out by arrangement with management.
Trafalgar Lodge – Siemens panel convection heating, thermostatically controlled in motel units for your comfort.
In the event that outside heating or cooling equipment is brought onto the premises of Trafalgar Lodge, without prior approval, then an extra per day charge will be made in consultation with the registered guest. Emerald House has three heatpumps and adlec panel heaters.
The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of their associates or visitors whilst on this property. Hair dying is not permitted in this complex. Removal of property, deliberate or reckless acts of damage, inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income and cost associated with this, will be charged to the registered guest. Please ensure that you smoke outside away from open windows, doors and other guests. In the event that a guest smokes in the units or lodge, management may engage a cleaning specialist company or employ the extra services of domestic cleaning staff. Management reserves the right to charge for the costs incurred and any resulting loss of income from the registered guest.
